About
I'm a software engineer focused on fullstack web development. My approach is methodical: I like understanding a problem deeply before reaching for a solution, and I care about writing code that someone else, often future me, can read and change six months from now.
I work across the Node.js and Java ecosystems, with experience in relational and non-relational databases, modern web frameworks, and cloud platforms. I lean on principles from people like Martin Fowler and Robert C. Martin (clean code, design patterns, OOP, database modeling) and bring that discipline to whatever I'm building. Long-term, I want to grow into roles where I shape system architecture and guide project direction.
Outside of coding, I recharge by traveling, fishing, hiking, gaming, and cooking.
